This web site is being developed for intentional humanists to share information, materials and stories for promoting humanism.
What is an "intentional humanist"? From our perspective, it is a secular humanist who practices and promotes humanism on and for it's own merits. Intentional Humanism celebrates the human experience with respect and dignity with a focus on the scientific, ethical and philosophical. Intentional Humanism does not concern itself with religion, unless religion interferes with the secular operation of society. Only then is it our duty as Intentional Humanists to intervene on the behalf of neutrality in society.
Our first offering on this site is a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation that addresses a common theme: How do we as Intentional Humanists speak about god without offending or demeaning those who believe?
